As part of the National Gateway Programme (Industry-Academia Linkages), Concordia Colleges organised an exposure visit for students of Concordia College Kot Addu Campus to the KAPCO Corporate Office, Kot Addu.
The purpose of this visit was to help students learn about the functioning of KAPCO, best practices for energy conservation, and career opportunities at KAPCO and other power companies.
Students from across Pakistan delivered speeches and competed in the Serious Urdu, Humorous Urdu, Serious English, and Humorous English categories. The Chief Guest, Ms. Shumaila Saleem, Senior Headmistress Beaconhouse Garden Town Campus, and Mr. Malik Amir Ali, Head of Sales and Business Development Concordia Colleges, presented winners with shields and certificates. Ms. Amna Nazir and Ms. Wajeha Bilal graced the event as judges for the English category, and Ms. Rubina Javed and Ms. Maira Irfan served as honourable judges for the Urdu category.
Concordia Colleges has taken the initiative of ‘Industry-Academia Linkages’ under the ‘National Gateway Programme’. This initiative provides the opportunity for experiential learning for students through industrial trips and learning best practices and proven skills from public and private industry experts.
Under ‘Industry-Academia Linkages’, Concordia Colleges organised an exposure visit for students to Beaconhouse National University (BNU) to explore different projects presented by the final year students of BNU. Students directly interacted with the new generation of artists, designers, and creators to understand the purpose and vision behind each project.
The visit provided a platform for students of Concordia Colleges to learn from talented graduating students and also fostered networking opportunities and potential collaborations.
Concordia Colleges organised separate sessions by the National Outreach Programme Team at Concordia College Bahawalpur Boys and Girls campuses to help students understand the fully funded scholarship opportunities they can avail to study at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
LUMS is a globally-renowned educational institute that has transformed individuals, generations, and society as a whole. The speakers guided students on how to apply through applications, compete on open merit, and earn fully-funded scholarships.
Concordia Colleges organised the ‘Character Building Workshop’ as part of the National Gateway Programme. This initiative aims to equip students with proper morality and discipline to help them lead ethical and successful lives.

The purpose of this visit was to help students learn about the different forms of tiles, their manufacturing, best practices for factory operations, and other valuable lessons from the industry-leading Master Tiles Team.
